Is your child fascinated by cars and curious about the classics? On Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd, Hagerty invites young enthusiasts (ages 8–15) to step into the driver’s seat of history with their signature Youth Judging Program, part of the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance.
This immersive program introduces the art of judging at a kid-friendly level, connecting the next generation of enthusiasts with today’s collectors. Each young judge receives official gear—T-shirt, hat, and scorecard—and learns how to evaluate vehicles with an expert’s eye.
A select group of cars will be reviewed, with Youth Judges interacting directly with owners, exploring the details up close, and ultimately awarding their top three favorites. It’s hands-on, exciting, and designed to inspire a lifelong love of all things automotive.
The program has become so popular that many participants return year after year—proof that the spark of passion, once lit, never fades.
