The day begins at The Concourse of Hilton Head’s Car Club & Storage Facility, where a light breakfast sets the stage for the adventure ahead. With wristbands and maps in hand, you’ll roll out in style, caravanning down tree-lined roads toward Port Royal Plantation. At Fort Walker Park, a special historical talk will bring the Civil War era to life, revealing the island’s pivotal role and the legacy of its earliest settlers.
The drive continues along Hilton Head’s picturesque marshlands before arriving at the iconic Skull Creek Boathouse, where Lowcountry flavors await. Over a Southern-inspired lunch, soak in waterfront views, share stories from the road, and savor the culture and charm that make Hilton Head unforgettable.
This isn’t just a drive — it’s an immersion into the island’s soul, where every mile carries history and every stop deepens the experience. Join us for a day of classic cars, captivating stories, and connections that last well beyond the final turn of the wheel.
Grand Motoring Film Festival
Walk The Red Carpet Into Concours Weekend
Returning for its ninth extravagant celebration of automotive movie magic, the Grand Motoring Film Festival kicks off the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance weekend on Friday evening October 31st with a blend of red-carpet flair and high-octane thrills at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. This star-studded event, which celebrates films and shorts that capture the thrills of the automotive world, has become the ultimate kick-off to the Concours weekend with its signature mix of red-carpet elegance and high-octane excitement.
The Grand Motoring Film Festival will commence with an elegant VIP reception featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and static displays of classic and collector cars as well as a few special surprises. When the curtain goes up, film fans will be dazzled by a curated selection of short films, world premieres and films that cuts across genres in showcasing the intersection of automotive and cinematic arts.
Returning to this year’s event will be the juried awards show, bestowing honors on the top motoring films submitted from around the world. Attendees can also expect to meet some of the stars and enjoy a Q&A with some of the creative forces behind the films.
A favorite among automotive enthusiasts and collectors, the Grand Motoring Film Festival returns as an official part of the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival. Doors open at 5PM for the red-carpet reception and automotive exhibits. See you on the red-carpet!
