Ed Bolian

Founder and CEO, VINWiki

A lifelong automotive enthusiast and modern-day motoring storyteller, Ed Bolian brings a unique blend of entrepreneurship, performance passion, and digital influence to this year’s Concours.

Ed first made headlines in 2013 when he shattered the legendary Cannonball Run record, driving from New York to Los Angeles in just 28 hours and 50 minutes. But his story started earlier—while still a student at Georgia Tech, he launched an exotic car rental company from his dorm room. That venture led to a role as Director of Sales at Lamborghini Atlanta, and eventually to the creation of VINwiki, a groundbreaking, crowd-sourced vehicle history platform.

Today, VINwiki has grown into the largest free automotive database available to consumers, with over 500,000 users and a global fanbase. As a media brand, VINwiki has earned over 1.9 million YouTube subscribers and stands as the most-viewed U.S.-based automotive channel as of 2023—thanks to its signature format: real car stories, told by the people who lived them.

Ed also co-hosts the popular YouTube series Car Trek alongside automotive creators Freddy “Tavarish” Hernandez and Tyler Hoover of Hoovie’s Garage. Since its debut in 2020, the trio has released 10 car-buying challenge mini-series with over 100 million views worldwide.

We’re thrilled to welcome Ed to the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance as a guest judge and special guest, where he’ll join fellow enthusiasts in celebrating the craftsmanship, culture, and stories behind the world’s most remarkable vehicles.
