Do you have what it takes?
In partnership with the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival, Michelin is asking students at Beaufort County high schools to produce drawings and an explanation of the idea of what a classic car of the future could look like.

DELIVERABLEs:
- One (1) 11” X 17” page (in landscape format) with illustrations of the car. Include the name of the brand, and any specific features or technologies that you believe are important to describe it. Design the page to make an appealing presentation.
- One (1) 8.5” X 11” typed page describing your vehicle. Specifically highlight its powertrain (electric, hybrid, etc.) and any innovations that you want the judges to know about (is it autonomous, etc)? What innovations are you using to define its form? How does it reflect your chosen brand? What attributes speak to the iconic look and feel of a classic, timeless automobile? What do you want the judges to know about this vehicle, and why you should win?)
- One (1) 8.5” X 11” typed page with biographies of individual, or team members.
ENTRY GUIDELINES: Students are encouraged to enter as individuals or in teams of four or fewer members.
DEADLINE: Student entries must be submitted to your school coordinator by October 1, 2018 at which time they will be mailed to Michelin for judging.
PRIZES and RECOGNITION: Every student entering the contest will receive two tickets to the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance. A top entry will be chosen from each high school and given a $500 college scholarship, an overall winning entry will receive an additional $500. A $1,000 scholarship will go to the school of the grand prize winning entrant. Top entries will be displayed at the Concours d’Elegance on November 2-4 and at a gallery in the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in Hilton Head following the show.
