CESAR PIERI
Founder, The Pieri Design Studio
Over the past 2 decades, Cesar Pieri has developed his professional experience as a Creative Automotive Designer working with several cultures, multiple subjects, many companies, and very different people all around the world.
Pieri has a huge influence from his Italian family heritage and Italian culture present in his life every day, being born in Brazil and living around the globe has helped him to create a multicultural approach and a true passion for cars, beautiful shapes, and design in general. His career started in South America studying Architecture and Industrial Design, then working for multiple Automotive, Product Design, and Architecture clients, including the Santander Bank as an Architectural Designer
But, some years later, his passion for cars drove him to the Politecnico di Milano University, in Italy, where he finished his Master's degree in automotive and transportation design sponsored by Maserati and FIAT group, where he later started to work as an Exterior Design, in Turin, where the Fiat Group Design Center (officina83) is located.
After his time at Fiat Design in Turin, the Italo-Brazilian automotive designer moved to Austria to work on a joint-venture project between Cherry Motors and Magna Steyr to launch a completely new automotive Brand in China, called Qoros Automobiles.
At the same time, Pieri has been working as a consultant for different brands, including designing tanks and military vehicles for a Hungarian Company.
All this work lead him to Jaguar Land Rover in England, where he stayed for almost 7 years as Creative Design Manager for the Jaguar Advanced Design Studio, working and managing projects like the Jaguar F-Type, Project 7 concept car, F-Pace, Jaguar XF, I-Pace, and multiple other projects.
In 2018, Pieri decided to join SCAD, The Savannah College of Art and Design as Chair of the Industrial Design Department and to set up his own Automotive Design Consultancy, The Pieri Design Studio (in England), working with clients in The USA, Europe, and China for clients like BMW group, Cherry Motors, Evergrande Automotive, Yutong Motors, GAC Motors, and NIO Automobiles, among many others.
Cesar Pieri is globally known as well for his Automotive Artwork collection. His Hand-painted Automotive car hoods have been in exhibitions all around the globe, including in Italy, England, the USA, Brazil, and across Europe.
